Hee Haw Farms

Today we had a wonderful field trip to Hee Haw Farms. We all had a great time. We did get rained on for a little while, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. The kids were split into smaller groups under the watchful care of a parent or teacher and as a class we rotated between 4 stations. First we started out on a large slide. The kids sat on sacs and "flew" down the slide. They all loved it and had a blast. Next we visited the animal farm where you could hear sounds of animals and sounds of children laughing as they chased the pigs, ducks, goats etc. Next we headed over to the corn maze. Boy did they love that! We could have been in there all day if it were up to the kids. They loved having the opportunity to take turns choosing which direction we should go next and working as a team to find our way out. Our last station, which happened to be my favorite was the Hayride to the pumpkin patch where each child was able to choose a pumpkin to take home. The children were really well behaved and as a parent there helping, I had a great time getting to know your children better.
