Halloween Party

Hello fellow 1st grader families. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to come and help with the Halloween Party this coming Friday. I am needing about 2 more volunteers. I am also in need of 2 bags of teddy grahams to add to "Halloween Stew" for the kids. Please let me know if you are available for any of the above. My email is molineo@yahoo.com.

Thanks
Amanda

Going Private????

It is not private at this time, but if I can have all the parents email me @ molineo@yahoo.com with their email info I can add them to a list that will allow them to see if privately. I will not be posting any names, or even the location of where we live etc. I am more than willing to go private if this is what the parents desire. I just wanted to have a "space" where the parents that are unable to attend parties, field trips, etc. can view what their little ones are doing, and all the fun they are having.

Please let me know if going private is what you parents would like me to do or if you are okay with how the blog is, as long as no personal information etc. is posted.

Thanks

Hee Haw Farms

Today we had a wonderful field trip to Hee Haw Farms. We all had a great time. We did get rained on for a little while, but that didn't stop us from having a great time. The kids were split into smaller groups under the watchful care of a parent or teacher and as a class we rotated between 4 stations. First we started out on a large slide. The kids sat on sacs and "flew" down the slide. They all loved it and had a blast. Next we visited the animal farm where you could hear sounds of animals and sounds of children laughing as they chased the pigs, ducks, goats etc. Next we headed over to the corn maze. Boy did they love that! We could have been in there all day if it were up to the kids. They loved having the opportunity to take turns choosing which direction we should go next and working as a team to find our way out. Our last station, which happened to be my favorite was the Hayride to the pumpkin patch where each child was able to choose a pumpkin to take home. The children were really well behaved and as a parent there helping, I had a great time getting to know your children better. I have also posted a couple of videos of your children singing some of the fun songs they have learned this year at school. Enjoy!!!!! (please know that I was only with a small group of children & apologize if I do not have pictures of your child. I will make sure to get more photos of everyone at the upcoming Halloween party.)
